All of a sudden I woke up from in the middle of my sleep with an agonising gum pain. It was 6 o’clock in the morning and the ache was so intimidating that I had to get out of bed and visit an emergency dentist near Aspley. An appointment was not needed as the dentist would only seek attention to people who need emergency examination.
After arriving at the dental clinic, I had to wait for a couple of minutes before being called into the chamber. The dentist did a close examination of the oral health and upon further consultation and x-ray, the diagnosis stated that I had a fine crack in one of my molars. I cannot remember which event gave rise to the adversity I am facing right now but he suggested that I should get rid of the improper tooth as soon as possible. After giving the necessary medicines, most of which were painkillers, he advised me to visit my regular dentist for the tooth extraction process.
After visiting the emergency dentist in Aspley I learned that these specialists are different from the regular dentists in their job profile. They are meant to attend critical situations and take immediate measure to ease the state. They look forward to work on saving the lives of individuals and address situations where a couple of minutes late can lead to loss of teeth. These can include severe inflammation, bleeding from oral organs, agonising pain and infection in the throat. They also address situations like a fractured tooth, lost tooth, teeth extraction. A follow-up can be prescribed to check the development of the treatment. What they don’t undertake is cosmetic surgery which is aimed at enhancing the overall appeal of a person. They don’t deal work in Invisalign, dental crown or root canaling to be precise.
