And down I went through the plight of stairs hitting hard on
my face. For some time I laid senseless until my fiancé came and rescued me.
Held me while struggling to go to the bedroom. He was terrified to look at me.
I was in grave pain and bleeding profusely from my mouth. It didn’t take long
to draw the conclusion that one of my incisors has been knocked out. Right away
I was on my way to the emergency room to fix the mess. They gave me the
required medication and let me go back home. After the healing procedure, I was
compelled to visit a dentist for replacing missing teeth in Chermside.
Upon consultation with the dentist, he assisted in getting
the perfect fit for me which will take place of the tooth without compromising
the health of other oral parts. He suggested me to wait for another month
before undergoing any fixture. He insisted in taking up the treatment called
dental implants. In this process, a titanium screw is drilled into the gum and
a prosthetic tooth is attached to the head of the screw. I had to wait another
week or two for complete healing.
It was time for the final visit to the dentist. He held in
his hand a similar tooth which I had lost in the incident. After fixing the
same and facing the mirror I couldn’t hold back the emotion and tears went down
my cheek. It was after four months that I was replacing the missing teeth in Chermside neighbourhood.
